Problem with non-administrator accounts on Windows XP.

Document description: Error Message: “Cannot find Victor Installation” and “An error occurred accessing the Workout path”

There is a small modification you need to make for non-administrative users:

Log on with an administrator account.
Got to Start | Run | regedit
The Permissions on the following keys should be modified to Full Control for each user that wants to run WorkOut:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppPaths\WorkOut.exe
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wallac\Wallac1420
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.Application\CurVer

So find each key in regedit, right click on the key and select Permissions, select the Users then ensure Full Control is ticked for the selected user.

Search again

Download software now:
