Can I use a standard curve from one plate on other plates read in the same batch?Document ID: DQ054 Relevant to following products: WorkOut 2.0 Manta Document description: Application Example: RIA on Multiple plates.

An assay measuring RIA has a standard curve on the first plate to be read and the unknowns which must refer to the standard curve are on subsequent plates.
First, make sure you are creating multiple plate layouts. The easiest way to do this is use the Create a new microplate layout option from the Organiser. On the Microplate Layout Size wizard step tick the Multiple Plate option and continue through the wizard. After pressing Finish the microplate layout editor is displayed. Here you can use the Add Layout control to define multiple plates and then edit each plate. You can specify Standards on one or more plates and Unknowns on any plates (and also a blank for each plate if required). When you have finished editing, Save the new microplate layout. Now when you use this new microplate layout in a protocol (such as from the Quantitative wizard) the standard curve will be used to calculate concentrations on all plates. If you have defined more than one set of standards you will be given the option to select which standard set to use.
